My name is Steve Marcus. My Great Grandfather was Jacob (Jake) Meyerson of Mountaindale who built many Hotels and Bungalows in Sullivan County from the late 20's to the late 50's. He also built some non-Hotel buildings such as Mountaindale High School which even though in delapidated condition is still standing.
He had five children, Sara (Rosen)(my Grandmother), Lillian (Shabbus), Doris (Kaminsky), Ruth (Magid), and Charlotte (Schwartz).
Does anyone have any recollection or memories of the Meyerson's? I'm working on a family history to hand down to all my younger cousins about their Great Grandfather and their Grandparents.
Any help is appreciated. -

Of course I knew/know the Meyerson's. I lived in Mountaindale and my family had the only barber shop in town. I know Charlotte, Sara, Lillian and Doris. Not sure about Ruth. Are you related to Sybil????? -
